MathCounts is a nationaly sponsored organization with the goals to: excite students about math, teach young adults to be problem solvers, demonstrate how math is important to everyday life and build essential teamwork skills.

Any student in grades 6,7,8 can come to the practice sessions. We have snacks and work the problems provided in the MathCounts kit. We practice once each week from 3-4 pm starting in late September or early October. The chapter contest is held in February but sometimes we continue meeting during the spring months.
